Its been a long time since I last posted so I thought I would get one in quickly now and then the next one will be in Thursday! So much to write about!!
The beginning of March I went to Manchester to go on a Creative Wedding Photography Course, it was an absolutely fantastic day and I thought I would share some of the photos from the day with you. We started in the Town Hall where we photographed a model in various lighting situations and poses to get the best from the shoot. This was great, the architecture spoke for itself with its corridors and stunning glass and tiles formations, the test was getting the shot in the correct lighting and getting the best from the photograph. Then we went over to the Northern Quarter, if you have never been I would highly recommend it, it was drenched in graffiti, old brick work a location photographers dream!! We stopped for some well need lunch and then continued on our day. We then met up with a lovely couple who we photographed on an engagement shoot session. We walked around looking for some quirky parts of the day, roads, cars, walls, floors whatever we could find and we came out with some truly amazing shots!!
The course was hosted by a photographer called Nicola Thompson http://nicolathompsonphotography.co.uk/ she has some more courses coming up and I would definitely recommend them to any budding or professional photographer. Check out her website to see what she’s been up to…. she’s an amazing photographer!!!
